In a specific town, humans cohabitate with a variety of Japanese spirits and demons. Remarkably, a supernatural creature named Vlad the vampire resides in the area and has achieved a godly position by residing in a shrine that is somewhat removed from the urban surroundings. Despite being a vampire, Vlad takes great care to protect the local populace from other dangerous entities, yet unforeseeable circumstances occasionally arise and are beyond his control.
